A day of fun! Bassetts Ice Cream joined forces with WHYY and Philadelphia’s
leading independent frozen dessert artisans including fellow Reading
Terminal merchant Miller’s Twist plus Bredenbeck’s Bakery
& Ice Cream Parlor, The Franklin Fountain, Gelati di Capri
(Goat’s Milk Gelato), KOV (Kosher Organic Vegan), and Uncle
Dave’s Ice Cream for a day of frozen fun at the height of
summer! Highlights of the day included ... Live Music, Ice Cream
Eating Contests, Presentation on Organic & Healthy Frozen
Desserts, Best Ice Cream Topping Goatee Contest, Root Beer Float
Drop, Ice Cream Cake Making Demonstration, Ice Cream Juggling,
a Make Your Own Ice Cream Flavor Contest, Ice Cream Arts and Crafts
and Freshly Made Ice Cream and Waffle Cones.
