Ann Bassett
With great sadness we share... Our matriarch, Ann Bassett, passed away this morning. She will be dearly missed. As fourth generation in the Bassetts Family to run Bassetts Ice Cream, she launched our wholesale business. If you have enjoyed Bassetts Ice Cream in a place other than our shop in the Reading Terminal Market, you can thank Ann for that. Her favorite flavor was Raspberry Truffle, which she would often sprinkle with toffee pieces.
