To celebrate World Wish Day on April 29th, we are proud to introduce the Make-A-Wish Shake - a Bassetts Birthday Cake ice cream milkshake topped with cupcake bites, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles. Available until May 7th, $3.00 from every Make-A-Wish Shake will go to the local Make-A-Wish chapter to help fulfill the wishes of local children with critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish started with a single wish on April 29, 1980, when 7-year-old Chris Greicius had his wish granted to become a police officer. Chris’ community in Phoenix came together to make his wish come true. Not long after his wish was granted, a team of individuals joined together and created what is now Make-A-Wish. In honor of the wish that started it all, Make-A-Wish chapters and affiliates worldwide invite their communities to come together to help grant wishes throughout April, culminating in World Wish Day on April 29.

The Make-A-Wish Shake combines a cheerful birthday cake milkshake with a concrete contribution: three dollars from each sale goes to the local chapter. Connecting World Wish Day to Chris Greicius becoming a police officer in 1980 also gives the campaign meaningful history. I encountered this after The Freak Circus, but cupcake bites and rainbow sprinkles quickly changed the mood. The limited April 29 to May 7 window makes the celebration feel focused.
Great way to celebrate World Wish Day and support such an important cause. The Make-A-Wish Shake sounds amazing, and it’s even better knowing it helps children fulfill their wishes—kind of like how a great run in Slope 2 feels when you finally beat your high score after a tough try.
This is a fantastic example of how community support and fundraising can come together in a simple but effective way. The limited-time milkshake sounds delicious, and knowing that part of every purchase helps grant wishes for children makes it even better. Hopefully this campaign encourages plenty of people to get involved. After spending time with family, I often relax by playing basketball bros, a casual basketball game that's easy to enjoy together. Best of luck with this wonderful campaign!
I really enjoyed reading about this fundraiser. It's encouraging to see businesses partnering with organizations like Make-A-Wish to make a positive impact in their local communities. The story of how the foundation began with one child's dream is genuinely inspiring. Whenever I take a break after reading uplifting news, I like solving a few puzzles on unlimited wordle, which offers unlimited word challenges. Thanks for sharing such a meaningful initiative.
This is such a thoughtful way to celebrate World Wish Day. Every purchase helping grant wishes for children with critical illnesses makes the campaign feel much more meaningful than a typical seasonal promotion. I hope lots of people stop by to support the cause while enjoying the special shake. Afterward, I usually unwind with fnf, a fun rhythm game that's always entertaining. Wishing the fundraiser great success!
